Before the 2018 season, Fiona Brown joined FC Rosengård.

It is the only season she has been able to play fully.

The following year, she suffered a cartilage injury in one knee.

Now an operation is waiting on the other knee after a cruciate ligament injury.

"I never thought it would happen again.

I have done everything in my power to prevent it from happening, but sometimes the body does not want what the heart wants.

Disappointed, angry and sad.

But above all grateful for the people around me and the club ”.

Therese Sjögran believes that it will be a big break but that you should do what you can to support her.

- Of course it is heavy and we suffer with her considering how hard she has worked to come back from the second injury, says sports director Therese Sjögran to SVT Sport.

"Some slam harder than others"

On his social media, the Scottish hill describes his feelings about the setback.

"It is not many times in my life that I have missed the positive.

But some bangs are harder than others, "Brown wrote on his Twitter.

The rehab process will be long and Brown will miss the rest of the season.

- It hurts right into the soul.

I had allowed her to be with me for a whole season.

But now it will unfortunately not be the case, says Sjögran and continues:

- With her head and mentality, I'm sure she's coming back.
