- They created many chances but we fought.

We would have liked to control the match better but three points were important.

It was tough not to move on after the Basel match but we used that energy for this match, says Hammarby's goalkeeper David Ousted to Discovery.

In the final minutes, Ousted again saved his team when he parried Anel Ahmedhodzic's free kick.

The MFF player slipped and slithered in the wet grass.

It was heavy MFF pressure though

Malmö looked to have taken over the match when substitute Astrit Selmani scored 2-1 in the middle of the second half.

He was sent off by Mohanad Jeahze from the left wing and was able to angle the ball into the empty net.

Shortly afterwards, Jeahze broke high and started a conversion and released Paulinho.

But

Malmö's goalkeeper Ismael Diawara was able to keep his team in the match with an important save.

Shortly afterwards, Antonio Colak was extremely close to equalizing for Malmö but David Ousted made a nice parade and saved the heavy shot.

MFF had two great chances to take the lead

After about an hour, Malmö created two giant chances in a couple of minutes.

At first Antonio Colak got the ball in deep but got the ball too far away in the takedown and Björn Paulsen was able to clear.

Then Malik Abubakari came completely free with Hammarby's goalkeeper who went out and made himself big and blocked the chance. Ousted got really hurt and was re-plastered for a couple of minutes before the match could be resumed.
