The national football team continues its preparations for its next matches against Lebanon and Syria, scheduled for the second and seventh of next month, in the first and second rounds of the first group in the final round of qualifying for the 2022 World Cup. Through his internal camp in Dubai, which he started last Friday.
The national team begins the decisive stage of the qualifiers by facing its Lebanese counterpart at Zabeel Stadium in Al-Wasl Club, while it will meet its Syrian counterpart in the Jordanian capital Amman, and the recent period witnessed four technical and administrative steps in preparation for the two upcoming matches, represented in stopping the matches of the ADNOC Professional League after only two rounds have passed since its launch. Until the team finishes the Lebanon and Syria matches, as well as conducting medical examinations for the players and the technical and administrative staff of the team in accordance with the medical protocol, and the team’s technical staff begins implementing the second phase of the preparation program by establishing a closed camp in Dubai, as well as the technical staff reducing the expanded list, which included 31 players, to only 27 players.
For his part, the former national team supervisor, the former international player, Dr. Hassan Suhail, told «Emirates Today»: "Despite the difficulty of the task, we have great confidence in the players of the team by overcoming this stage, and winning six points in the first two rounds of the team," describing the elements that were selected. In the final list as "the most prominent in the league and the best, and it is the ideal at the present time."
He added that «the national team needs, at this stage, a double effort by the players, and the players must deal with all matches in a piece system, and consider each confrontation as a final for the team».

1- The ADNOC Professional League matches will be suspended until the team finishes the matches between Lebanon and Syria.
2- Medical examinations of the players according to the medical protocol, before the start of the internal preparation camp.
3- The technical staff of the national team started implementing the second phase of the preparation program by establishing a closed camp in Dubai.
4- The technical staff reduced the expanded list of 31 players to 27 players only.

The main training to face the "rice" team tomorrow
The national team will perform its main training, tomorrow, at Zabeel Stadium in Al-Wasl Club in Dubai, in preparation for meeting the Lebanese national team, next Thursday, at the same stadium.
27 players who were selected in the final list are participating in the current training, knowing that the technical staff summoned Al-Wasl player, Ali Saleh, instead of Al-Wahda player, Khalil Al-Hammadi, who suffers from a health problem, and also summoned Al-Ahly youth player Abdullah Al-Naqbi.
