Russian swimmer Andrei Granichka became the champion of the Summer Paralympic Games in Tokyo.
The 24-year-old native of Sevastopol won the 100m breaststroke.
Granichka (SB5 class) set a world record, covering the distance in 1 min 25.13 s. Spaniard Antoni Bertrando Ponce finished second (+1.40 s). Bronze went to Chinese Junsheng Li (+3.88).
At the Games in Tokyo, Borichka also won silver in the 200 m medley in SM6 class.
