In his first match in table tennis' class 8, Linus Karlsson repeatedly managed to turn the disadvantages into a victory.

The match seemed lost when he lost the first six balls in the fifth set.

But Karlsson came back and won 3-2 in sets.

- It was among the worst you have experienced.

It felt like I was uphill all the time, but I still managed to pinch it in the end.

That was nice.

I am so happy that I stood up, fought and chewed the whole match, he says.

Linus Karlsson is now very well placed to advance and play his second match in the group game at 13.40 Swedish time.

Things went worse for Emil Andersson in the same class.

He lost in three straight sets against the difficult-to-play Frenchman Thomas Bouvais.

But after yesterday's victory, Andersson should still advance to the round of 16.

Ingela Lundbäck also lost her match this morning.

Chinese world setter Bian Zhang was too good and won 3-1 in sets.
