The Swedish jumper Jenny Rissveds joined in the beginning of the sprint - but had to give up after half the race.
It was an eighth place for Rissveds who in July finished in 14th place at the Olympics in Tokyo.
The battle for victory was even, but after the finish photo, the gold went to Olympic silver medalist Sina Frei.
Rissveds was 37 seconds behind the Swiss.
Rissveds has an Olympic gold from 2016 as its main merit.
