The Federal Court of the German Football Association has confirmed VfL Wolfsburg's cup-out.

The Bundesliga club appealed against the withdrawal of the 3-1 win in the first round match at SC Preußen Münster due to a substitution error.

The DFB Federal Court, chaired by Achim Späth, saw it as proven that the Wolfsburg-based company had been responsible for “The result of the first instance remains.

VfL Wolfsburg saw the referees guilty of preventing the sixth substitution.
