The draw for the group stage of the 2021-2022 Champions League took place this Thursday, August 26, in Istanbul.
Defending champion Chelsea will face Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain will meet Manchester City who eliminated them in the semi-finals in the previous edition.

The 32 clubs qualified for the group stage of the Champions League 2021-2022 are fixed.
On the program, some beautiful posters like Manchester City-PSG, Inter-Real Madrid, Bayern Munich-Barcelona or Chelsea-Juventus.

To proceed with this draw, the 32 clubs were divided into four hats.
The first consisted of the champions of England (Manchester City), Germany (Bayern Munich), Spain (Atlético de Madrid), France (Lille), Portugal (Sporting) and the winners of the Champions League. (Chelsea) and the European League (Villareal).
The other clubs have been ranked according to their UEFA coefficient.
Jorginho named UEFA player of the year
On the sidelines of this draw, several Chelsea players were rewarded after the coronation of their club in the previous edition: the Italian Jorginho elected UEFA player of the year,
the Senegalese Édouard Mendy, goalkeeper of the year
and the Frenchman N'Golo Kanté best midfielder.
Spanish defender Rúben Dias (Manchester City) and Norwegian striker Erling Haaland (Dortmund) were also honored in their posts.
The competition will start on September 14.
The final will take place on May 28, 2022 at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in Russia.
