Gulf FC Football Club announced its participation in the next season of the First Division, after fulfilling the requirements required by the Football Association, as the second division champion for the past year.

Gulf FC is the first investment club at the state level to join the amateur league.

The club revealed the new board of directors headed by Ahmed Al-Tawash, and includes each of the members: Khaled Naqi, Omar Al-Marzouqi, Muhammad Al-Naqbi and Rawda Al-Mazroui, and Abdullah Omar will be a member and manager of the club, while the club's president will be Ahmed Naqi.

In turn, the club's director, Abdullah Omar, told "Emirates Today": "We are proud that (Gulf FC) is the first investment club at the state level and participates in the first-class competitions qualifying for the UAE Professional League, according to the strategy of the UAE Football Association (Vision 2038). The club’s president, Ahmed Naqi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federation, to the Federation member Ahmed bin Darwish, and the Secretary-General, Mohammed bin Hazam.
