Takeya Nakamura, a 38-year-old professional baseball player from Seibu, struck his 22nd full-base home run in the Orix match at Kyocera Dome Osaka, breaking his own professional baseball record.

Nakamura started in 4th and 3rd, and hit the 10th bases loaded home run from Orix starting pitcher Sachiya Yamasaki in the first at-bat, which was greeted with no out bases loaded.

Nakamura's grand slam home run is the 22nd in total since October last year, breaking his own professional baseball record.

The second place in history is 15 of former giant Sadaharu Oh.

Nakamura is 38 years old in his 20th year as a professional player.

So far, he has won six home run kings, four RBI kings, and seven best nine awards.

After the match, Nakamura said, "I tried to change the runner and hit it, and then I entered the stand. It felt good."
