Sweden has one of the world's best volleyball players in its national team named Isabelle Haak.

Previously, her national team mates have described it as that with such a player in their team, anything is possible.

But in the victory against Romania on Saturday night, Isabelle Haak did not stand for a huge match, in terms of what she can achieve when she plays at the top.

She was certainly the strongest with her 22 points (compared to her 42 against Finland in the European Championship premiere), but this was more of a team effort than anything else.

"Do not know yourself what happened"

An effort and victory that impressed Sweden's number 10.

- I do not know myself what really happened, we got the upper hand immediately.

It feels like we controlled the game a bit.

We did great and everyone was really good.

Everyone stepped up and contributed, so heavenly good, says Isabelle Haak to SVT after the victory.

Sweden won 3-0 in sets where the numbers were written to 25-21, 25-17, 25-16.

"This is what we've been waiting for"

Another who stood for a good match against Romania was Sofie Sjöberg.

- This is what we have been waiting for, that everything will fall into place.

It feels so good that we were able to reach this level at a championship.

We know what we can do when everyone contributes.

We have a fantastic reception, great blocks and good attacks.

Everything was in agreement today, says Sjöberg.

Next, Sweden will face Turkey on Sunday. The match starts at 16.30 and can be seen on SVT1 or on SVT Play.
