Morocco's Raja Casablanca crowned the Arab Club Football Cup with a 4-3 victory over Al-Ittihad on penalties after a 4-4 draw in an exciting and volatile match in Rabat on Saturday.

Raja won its second title in the tournament, after winning it 15 years ago in 2006.

The match was held at Moulay Prince Abdullah Stadium in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, and witnessed great excitement, especially when Raja advanced 4-2, but Al-Ittihad rose up and scored two consecutive goals to draw 4-4.

Brazilian Bruno Henrique opened Al Ittihad's goals in the fourth minute, and a minute later Elias Haddad equalized for Raja, then his colleague Mahmoud Benhalib added the second goal in the 12th minute.

Brazilian Romario Ricardo da Silva equalized for Al Ittihad from a penalty kick in the 29th minute, but Zakaria Al-Wardi regained Raja's lead in the 37th minute, and Sofiane Rahimi boosted Raja's lead with the fourth goal.

Al-Ittihad rose up after Raja's fourth goal, and scored two goals in less than a quarter of an hour through Romario Ricardo da Silva in the 53rd and 64th minutes from a second penalty kick.

The two teams went to penalty kicks, which Raja decided in his favour, to crown the title.
