For this indicator, he broke the record of former teammate Sergei Ignashevich (489).

The goalkeeper has been playing for CSKA since 2003 and had a total of 678 meetings with the team, in which he conceded 605 goals.

Earlier, the head coach of the Russian national team, Valery Karpin, said that goalkeeper Akinfeev was invited to the next training camp of the national team.
