The transfer window of Olympique de Marseille is not over.

"We are missing four or five players", explained Friday the coach of OM, Jorge Sampaoli, 48 hours before the match of the third day of Ligue 1 in Nice, "hoping to have a full squad next week".

The arrival of Pol Lirola from Fiorentina, Italy, "is not yet confirmed," said the Argentine technician from OM, about the Spanish right-back.

The defender had already played in the Olympian jersey last season, on loan.

Milik expected

According to Sampaoli, OM, 6th in the Ligue 1 standings with 4 points, will have to be "creative" in a transfer market "complicated, particularly because of economic conditions".

Among these new recruits expected, the Argentine coach will work on the file of a number 9, with the departure on loan of his compatriot Dario Benedetto in Spain, in Elche.

"Once this departure is confirmed, we will then see what attacking profile to recruit, a surface player, or someone with a greater influence on the game, more passer," Sampaoli detailed shortly before the officialization of the loan.

"It will also depend on the date of Milik's return," said Jorge Sampaoli, about Polish center-forward Arkadiusz Milik, recovering from a knee injury which had deprived him of the Euro in June.
