Former Hammarby striker Nikola Djurdjic has signed for Degerfors.

The Serb's contract is for two and a half years.

- It feels exciting with another adventure.

I look forward to seeing how this will be, says Djurdjic to the club's website.

- I am here to do what I am best at, to help the team with the goal scorer.

At my age, of course, I will also help lift the younger players.

That's why I'm here.

Represents a Swedish club for the fourth time

Patrik Werner, sports manager at Degerfors, believes that the well-qualified player will be important for the team.

- That we get a Champions League-qualified player to Valla will lift the whole team, says the sports director.

He is described as a hard-working forward and goal scorer.

Djurdjic comes most recently from Chinese Chengdu Better City.

Prior to that, he was in Hammarby between 2018 and 2019.
