This summer, you were perhaps one of those who tested the summer fly stand up paddle, or SUP as it is also called.

Here is the water sport for those who want a slightly bigger challenge.

Wingfoiling is a fairly new sport where athletes surf with a hand-held inflatable sail on a board with a hydrofoil plane.

First European champions

In wingfoiling, you compete in two different disciplines: surf-freestyle and race.

The first European champions in the race were Olivia Piana, France, and Francesco Cappuzzo, Italy.
