Twenty-six foreign players will appear for the first time in the ADNOC Professional Football League, which will start tonight with three matches, amid expectations of an increase in this number, after the news circulated in the past hours that the Emirates and Al Orouba clubs are close to completing new deals at the level of foreign professionals.

Al Wasl is considered the most contracted with the faces by completing its agreement with the Brazilian quartet, Ramiro, Arajo, Botker and Edilson.

Al Ain supported its ranks with three new players, Yassin Meriah, Guanka and Sufian Rahimi, and Sharjah supported its ranks with Brazilian player Bernard and Angolan Malango, while the Spanish unit chose Jose Jurado.

The Kalba Union bet on the Peruvian trio Wilder Cartagena, Hungarian Roland Varga and Austrian Robert Zlai, and Khorfakkan settled on the inclusion of Spain’s Borja Valli, Iraq’s Osama Rashid and the other Spaniard Fernandez. As for Al-Orouba, the newly promoted ADNOC Professional League club, completed its agreement with Nigeria’s Ali Baido, and Bahrain’s Ali Mudon .

Ajman did not venture in terms of new deals for its foreign players, and relied on elements that had previously played in the ADNOC Professional League and attracted only the Colombian Mina, and the victory raised the slogan of stability over the foreign quartet since last season, namely Mahdi Obeid Tozi, Ryan Mendes, and Dia Sabaa, while the player brought in The Israeli Abdullah Halil, who was registered in the field of citizen players.

Al-Ahly youth strengthened its ranks with the inclusion of the Iranian Ahmed Nourallah, while Al-Jazira, the defending champion, completed his contract with the duo Victor and Diaby.

The Emirates team relied on the African school, represented by the Ivorian Joseph Kenado, the Moroccan Adam Al-Nafati, and his compatriot Walid Sabari.

In general, Khorfakkan imposed itself as the most active in the summer transfer market by concluding 17 transfer and loan deals, while the movement of Al-Jazira Club, which was crowned the league title last season, was the least active and satisfied with two capacities at the level of foreign players and residents without concluding any deal at the level of foreigners.

The Iraqi Osama Rashid, the center player, who comes from the Turkish Gaziantep team, is one of the most prominent deals of Khorfakkan, alongside the Spanish Luis Fernandez and Borja Valle.

The results of the Kalba Union last season opened the appetite of its officials, who concluded 12 deals in preparation for the new season, including the resident trio;

Moroccans Anis Karimi and Ayman Rouchouki, and Argentinian Ramirez.

Al-Ain dispensed with the old faces of its foreign players, most notably the Japanese, Shiotani and Nakajima, Edward Kwame Atone (resident), Argentine Christian Guanka, Tunisian defender Yassin Meriah, Sufian Rahimi, Sultan Al Shamsi, and goalkeeper Sultan Al-Mandhari.

Baniyas deals were limited to the player, Hassan Abbas Jumaa, who came from the ranks of Al-Wahda on loan.

Sharjah appeared with a clear movement of activity by contracting with the Brazilian Bernard Duraty, who is considered the most famous deal in the UAE league so far, along with the Angolan side between Malango, Khalil Khamis, Majed Rashid, Ahmed Al Attas and Abdullah Kazem.

Al-Nasr's contracts focused more on the citizen players, bringing to its ranks Abdullah Anwar, Omar Jumaa Rabie, Abdullah Nasser, Iraqi defender Muhammad Mustafa (resident), striker Abdullah Hlehel in the resident category, goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Tamimi, and Adel Abu Bakr, who is loaned from Al-Jazeera.

Ajman Club management succeeded in treating the defect in the team’s ranks, which almost paid its tax by relegation last season, so it brought in strong deals represented in the return of its player Mohammed Hilal from the ranks of Al Ain, Sharjah midfielder Tariq Al Khadim, and Fujairah player Bilal Youssef, and he brought his former player back from Al-Uruba Saud Saeed, in addition to contracting with Tunisian Firas Belarabi and Hatta defender, Miral Samardjic.

Al Dhafra scored five new players, led by Saif Al Harthy from Al Ain Club, the Spaniard Pedro Javier from Al Wahda, Mohammed Hareb from Sharjah, Hamdan Al Muharrami and Ahmed Ali from Baniyas Club. Ahmed Ibrahim, and Ahmed Malallah.

While the Emirates Club was more interested in its contracts with foreign and resident players, and the club announced its contract with the Brazilian Elison Damota, the Serbian Paveley, Ahmed Mahmoud, the Olympic team player, Sultan Al Suwaidi, who came from Al Dhafra on loan, and Ahmed Issa from Khorfakkan.
