The 20-time grand slam winners Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have both been vaccinated and urged athletes to take responsibility for life to return to normal.

- The only way out of this nightmare is the vaccine.

Our responsibility as human beings is to accept it, says Nadal.

- I know that a small proportion of people get side effects, but the consequences of the virus are much worse.

But there are stars who are of a different opinion.

World setter Novak Djokovic said in April that he hoped that no vaccination requirement would be introduced to be able to play and refused to answer if he had vaccinated himself yet.

Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas is on the same track and says he will not be vaccinated unless it becomes mandatory.

- Nobody has said anything to me.

No one has made it mandatory to get vaccinated, says the world three.

- At some point I will probably need it, but so far it has not been a requirement to play, so I have not done it, no.
