President Sisi awards champion Faryal Abdel Aziz the Sports Medal of the first class

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi received today, Tuesday, the players of his country's delegation and the training teams that won medals during the Tokyo Olympics 2020.

The official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency said on his Facebook page today, Tuesday, that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi awarded the Sports Medal of the first class to the karate player Feryal Abdel Aziz and her coach Hani Qeshta, and the Sports Medal of the second class to the modern pentathlon player Ahmed El-Gendy and his coach Abdel Rahman Mohamed And the Sports Medal of the third class for Karate player Gianna Farouk and her coach Mohamed Abdel Regal, wrestling player Mohamed Ibrahim and coach Mohamed Ahmed, taekwondo players Hedaya Malak and Saif Issa and their coaches Osama Sayed and Mohamed Magdy and coach Oscar Salazar.

The honoring ceremony was attended by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, Engineer Hisham Hatab, President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee, as well as the heads of the Egyptian Federations of Modern Pentathlon, Taekwondo, wrestling and Karate.

The Egyptian president praised the results of the Egyptian mission in the Olympics and its contribution to strengthening Egypt's position on the international sports arena, stressing his appreciation to Egypt's athletes for their role models for youth in excellence, strength of determination and exerting effort to reach the goal.

Al-Sisi directed to provide the necessary capabilities for all age groups of Egyptian athletes in the various games, and to support them fully to ensure that they continue to achieve more sporting achievements, and to prepare from now to participate in the next Olympic Games in 2024 in Paris.
