Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, top scorer for the Italian soccer team Juventus, put an end to rumors of his return to Real Madrid, and insisted that his story with the Spanish club was "over".

The 36-year-old Portuguese striker said in a comment on his account on the Instagram application this evening, Tuesday, that the absurd way in which his future is discussed does not respect the clubs concerned, as well as other players and technical elements.

Ronaldo, who topped the Italian league's top scorer last season, has one year left in his contract with Juventus, but he did not show any desire to leave.

"My story at Real Madrid has already been written. It has been written in words, numbers, awards, titles, records and headlines. I know that real Real Madrid fans will continue to put me in their hearts. I have decided to break my silence now to say that I cannot allow people to continue playing in my name."

He continued, "I broke my silence to say that people cannot be allowed to continue to play in my name and use it in this way, my focus now is only on my career and my work, committed and ready for all the challenges I have to face, and anything else is just talk."

Earlier on Tuesday, Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti denied press reports about Real Madrid's interest in bringing the Portugal captain back.

Cristiano es una leyenda del Real Madrid y tiene todo mi cariño y respeto.

Nunca me he planteado ficharle.

Miramos hacia adelante.

The Italian coach said on his Twitter account, "Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the legends of Real Madrid and has all my affection and respect. I never thought about signing him. We are moving forward and looking forward."

It seems that Ancelotti's tweet angered Ronaldo, as the girlfriend of the Portuguese striker, Georgina Rodriguez, mocked her, commenting on her with a laughing face, before the Don launched his angry response, which refers to her and does not mention her.
