Goran is optimistic about the future of Ajman..and stresses: Our goal is an advanced center

Ajman coach, Serbian Goran Tevgodic, confirmed that the preparations made by his team in preparation for the new season called for optimism to present great levels in the ADNOC Professional League.

Goran said in the press conference before the victory meeting in the opening round of the league: "We set up a successful camp in Serbia, and we played many friendly matches there, and after returning to the country, the team performed outstandingly and achieved satisfactory results, which confirms the players' readiness for the start of the season."

He added: "Ajman suffered last season from some defensive problems, which we worked on well during the preparation period, and the team's level was in development, and today I can say that we are ready to kick start and achieve a positive result against Al Nasr."

The Serbian coach indicated, "Our ambition in this season will be different from the previous one. Our goal is to rise to advanced positions in the competition table, and survival will not be our main goal, but we will work to have a strong presence in all the competitions that we will compete in."

Regarding the new deals concluded by Ajman for the new season, Goran Tevgodic said: "Of course, we brought in a group of good names, whether at the level of foreigners or citizens, and harmony and understanding occurred between them quickly because they are players who present a professional way on the field, in the end I am very optimistic about orange this season. We promise everyone that they will see a strong team against Al-Nassr."

And about the extent to which Ajman can be affected by playing in light of high temperatures and humidity, he said: “Certainly playing in such climatic conditions is difficult for players, but it will not be on Ajman alone, and all teams will inevitably be affected by that, and what I would like to conclude is that we are ready in Either way."
