Last year, the club cashed in its eighth cup title.

Now the dream of new successes in the Swedish Cup for Blåvitt is alive.

On Tuesday night, they secured a group stage after a convincing victory against Österlen, a newcomer in Division 1 South.

In front of 1,300 spectators at Skillinge IP, they got a taste start when Gustaf Norlin gave the guests the lead already in the sixth minute.

Barely ten minutes later, Blåvitt's extension also came when Tobias Sana found an unmarked Robin Söder who placed the ball from close range.

"Proud of it"

The match ended 3-0 (Hosam Aiesh), and Österlen's chairman Tom Ekström was set in advance that it would be tough.

But he was happy with the draw itself.

- A big win in the lottery when we got IFK.

We dreamed of MFF or just IFK.

The match is great for the club, for the players and of course for the audience, which we maximized to 1,300 spectators, he said before the meeting.

Tobias Sana, who was noted for an assist, after the match:

- It was the intention that we should just go here and take the victory, and I am proud that we do, says the 32-year-old in C More's broadcast.
