Chinanews client, August 17th. The European Club Association (ECA) recently announced that nine founding clubs of the European Super League, including AC Milan, Liverpool and Manchester City, have rejoined the European Club Association.

  Nine clubs including AC Milan, Arsenal, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham and Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus co-founded the UEFA Super League in April this year.

Subsequently, various clubs withdrew from ECA one after another, and the top executives of various clubs also resigned from their positions in ECA.

  The European Club Association officially stated that the executive board agreed that the following clubs will retain their membership during the current 2019-23ECA membership cycle: AC Milan, Arsenal, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Tottenham.

  The European Club Association revealed that relevant clubs have admitted that the so-called European Premier League project ("ESL Project") is not in the interests of the wider football community. The club expressed its willingness to actively cooperate with the European Club Association to jointly fulfill the mission of developing European club football.

  The Board of the European Club Association stated that this marks the end of a regrettable and turbulent period in European football. The European Club Association can now unite again and continue to carry out the important work needed to stabilize and develop European club football.
