The Professional League and Emirates Palace Company announced the signing of a partnership agreement between the two national institutions, for the hotel to join the league's sponsors for a period of one year for 15 million dirhams, in a new initiative as part of efforts to develop Emirati football.
A press statement said: "The signing ceremony of the agreement took place at a ceremony held at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of the Chairman of the Emirates Palace Company, Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi, the Managing Director of the Emirates Palace Company, Sultan Al Humairi, and the First Vice President of the Football Association and President of the Professional League Abdullah Nasser Al Junaibi. .
