The world champion in martial arts transforms his activity into a football player

Russian football club Legan Dynamo has signed former world champion in mixed martial arts (lightweight) Habib Nurmagomedov, who retired from martial arts competitions last October.

And Ligan Dynamo, a competitor in the Russian third-tier league, revealed the contract with Nurmagomedov through the “Instagram” website.

And the club’s account published a picture of Habib with the club’s president and commented on it: “A big battle awaits our team, so we need great warriors.”

When the club president was asked about the details of the contract with Habib, he replied: "By mutual agreement, we will not comment on anything now, and when September comes, then everything will be clear."

Nurmahmov, 32, decided to retire from mixed martial arts after his victory over American Justin Gaethje on October 24, in his first match after the death of his father, Abdel Manab, due to Corona.

Last January, Nurmagomedov said he wanted to switch to football, and wrote on Twitter that he was preparing for his debut in the popular game and was "waiting for offers".
