6 Cuban teams are camping in Dubai in preparation for the Paralympic Games

The Dubai Sports Council discussed prospects for cooperation with the Cuban Ministry of Sports, and the possibility of setting up camps for Cuban sports teams in Dubai during the coming period, to benefit from the availability of modern and advanced sports and tourism facilities.

This came during the meeting of the Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, Saeed Hareb, with the First Deputy Minister of Sports of Cuba, Raul Fornes Valenciano, which was held at the headquarters of the Dubai Sports Council, in the presence of the President of the Cuban Paralympic Committee Alberto Juantorin, and the Assistant Secretary-General of the Council Nasser Aman Al Rahma. And Chairman of the Asian Paralympic Committee, Executive Director of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, Majid Al-Usaimi, and Vice President of the Dubai Club for People of Determination, Mohammed Julfar.

A statement issued by the Dubai Sports Council said that Saeed Hareb expressed the council's welcome to the Cuban delegation, which includes six sports teams for people of determination, who are camping in Dubai in preparation for participating in the Paralympic Games that will be held in Tokyo from August 23 to September 5, as well. He stressed the Council's readiness to facilitate the attendance of more Cuban teams in various sports to set up training camps in Dubai, and to participate in the various tournaments held here.

Hareb stressed that Dubai opens its doors and sports facilities to teams and teams from different countries of the world that attend annually to set up training camps in various sports throughout the year, as Dubai includes modern and diverse sports facilities that benefit dozens of teams and teams that camp in Dubai annually.
