Thierre Neuville has finished third in the World Rally Championship five times this season.

But now maybe the "permanent" third can enjoy a victory.

Ahead of Sunday's final stage and the last four distances of Belgium's World Rally Championship, Neuville leads by ten seconds ahead of Irishman Craig Breen.

Neuville was fastest on three of Saturday's eight distances, and runs fast in the lead.

- It is a great relief to end the day in management.

We knew it was a challenge today, and it will be a new one tomorrow.

But we have managed most of the rally, but we also know that we need to continue to drive smart tomorrow, says Thierry Neuville after Saturday's racing.

Ogier far behind

Closest behind Neuville is Hyundai's teammate, Craig Breen.

Ten seconds behind the Belgian.

Neuville extended the lead by about three seconds on Saturday's final stretch.

World Cup leader Sebastien Ogier is 46 seconds behind Neuville, but as always, it is never possible to count the Frenchman away, even if the conditions are tough.

SVT broadcasts Sunday's final stages starting on stage 18 from 09.00 on SVT1 and Play.
