Promises from businessmen of imaginary rewards for Zamalek players if they win the league

The head of the temporary committee in charge of managing the Egyptian club Zamalek, Hussein Labib, promised the first-team football players generous rewards if they win the league title this season.

Labib said during a meeting with the players before the Ismaili match this evening, that the temporary committee will give you rewards that far exceed what was stated in the list approved for the team to win the league.

He added that he had agreed with a large group of businessmen to contribute huge sums of money to the players to win the league title, stressing that these rewards would exceed their imagination, as he described it.

He stressed that the club will give all players their financial dues before the end of the league championship, in addition to preparing for rewards and renewing contracts for all players, pointing out that the ball is now in the players’ court to enjoy the money that will be lavished on them when winning the league.

Hussein Labib hopes that Zamalek will achieve the league championship to serve as a strong support for him to run in the Zamalek club elections scheduled to take place next November, as those close to the head of the temporary committee confirmed that the decision to run in the elections or not depends on Zamalek winning the league championship.
