According to the police report, which was submitted by the Mauritian Football Association's administrative secretary Mila Sinnasamy, the phone was found hidden in the water tank in the ladies' toilet at the Mauritian Football Association's headquarters.

Sinnasamy writes in the report that the mobile phone was switched on and filmed those who visited the toilet.

"It was placed in such a way that those who went into the toilet could be seen clearly, and if a woman took off her trousers, her private parts could be seen without any problems," she writes.

Youth teams may have been affected

According to Sinnasamy, the assistant secretary general of the Mauritian Confederation was informed, who then announced that they had initiated an internal investigation.

But after Sinnasamy experienced that nothing happened, she went to the police.

It is not only staff at the football association who may have been affected, as the association's premises are also home to the country's youth national team.

In addition, several club teams use the premises.

- There were some who contacted me immediately after the news came out.

They were worried because the premises are also used by the U17 girls, and there are two ladies' toilets that players and staff use.

I urge parents to contact the police.

I have personally contacted the government's child protection for help and assistance as well, says Jayesh Rampadarath, sports director at GRSE Wanderers SC in the Mauritian top league, to the British newspaper The Guardian, and continues:

- This is a serious case, and we hope that Fifa will act.

The chairman of the Mauritian Football Association has, according to local media quoted by the Guardian, said that "the truth always wins".
