Yesterday, the Ministry of the Interior signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation to sponsor, support and participate in the activities and events of the Federation, in order to ensure the strengthening of joint cooperation in a way that serves the Emirati youth and sports movement, and within the framework of ensuring the support of all national and sports community activities, which carry noble values and positive impact. in the individual and society.
The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Interior by Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry, and on behalf of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation Abdul Moneim Al Sayed Al Hashemi, President of the Asian and UAE Federations, First Vice-President of the International Jiu-Jitsu Federation, in a ceremony held for this purpose at the Ministry of Interior, in the presence of Brigadier General Mohamed Hamid. Bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Office of His Highness Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Police Sports Federation, Fahd Ali Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and a number of officers and officials from the sports sectors.
The agreement includes sponsoring the local jiu-jitsu championships, organized by the Emirates Jiu-Jitsu Federation, and sponsoring the Abu Dhabi World Championship for professionals in this sport.
