Now the deal is in port.

During the day, there have been rumors that Ismael Diawara will be ready for Malmö FF on the transfer window on the last day.

Now it is clear, the 26-year-old has guarded the box office for the Allsvenskan newcomer for three seasons.

During the past season, he has collected three zeros for Degerfors.

But now he has signed for Malmö FF, a contract that extends over 2022.

- We are happy to have tied Ismael to us.

He is a brave goalkeeper with good reflexes who has done very well in the Allsvenskan this year.

He is a good goalkeeper who we also see a great development potential in, says sports director Daniel Andersson in a press release.

"It has been going on"

Diawara believes that he is tagged for the coming seasons with Skånelaget and that he sees that he can develop in Malmö.

- It feels incredibly fun to be here.

It has been going on for a while and I am happy and proud to have signed for the Nordic region's largest club, he says.

- Personally, I hope to develop as a goalkeeper and human being, and it feels like a very good environment for that.

It is already clear that Malmö has strengthened the squad with Peter Gwargis, Niklas Moisander, Malik Abubakari and Sergio Peña.
