UAE champions win 26 medals in “Dibba for Bodybuilding and Physics”

UAE players won 26 medals at the conclusion of the third Dibba International Bodybuilding and Physics Championship, which was held at the Meydan Hotel in Dubai last Friday and Saturday, and was organized under the supervision of the Emirates Federation for Bodybuilding.

The UAE players scored 8 gold, 10 silver and 8 bronze.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Federation of Body Building and Fitness, and his deputy, Ali bin Haider, crowned the winners, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Federation, Muhammad Abdul Rahim Al Marri, and members Faisal Al Ghais Al Zaabi and Ahmed Jawhar.

The results of the winners of the Champions Cup resulted in Majid Ali Nejad from the UAE winning the first place for Physic, followed by Ali Al-Naqbi from the UAE second, and Saeed Ahmed from Yemen third.

In the bodybuilding champions championship, Abbas Salari from Iran came first, David Badiba from Nigeria came second, and Abdulaziz Qahtan Al Shehhi from the UAE came third.

In the Champion of Champions category in the Classic Physique, Fouad Iyad from Iraq won first place, followed by Ibrahim Rashid from the UAE second, and Rashid Barak from Kuwait.

Sheikh Abdullah Al Sharqi praised the distinguished organizational efforts revealed by the tournament and the precise precautionary measures, in addition to the meticulous arbitration aspect that was supervised by the Spanish international referee Jose Maria, the Vice President of the Georgian Federation of Bodybuilding Athena Polobova, and the Omani referee Ammar Al Hosani.

Al-Sharqi said in a press statement: "We congratulate the winners and the organizing committee for the gains that came out of the tournament, and we call for benefiting from these gains in a way that serves the practice of the game."
