Aguero injury keeps him out of action for two months

Barcelona's new striker Sergio Aguero has torn his calf and will be out of action for at least two months, according to Spanish newspapers published today.

Aguero, who was transferred on a free deal from Manchester City, was injured during a training session for his team on Sunday and underwent an MRI scan, which confirmed a tear in his leg.

And the newspaper "AS" indicated that "the Argentine striker suffers from a tear in his calf and will be out of action for about 8 weeks. Which means that he will not return to the stadiums in the best case until October.”

As for the newspaper "Marca", it considered that the injury may keep him "from two to three months."

Mundo Deportivo reported that Aguero moved "with crutches" because he could not "put his leg on the ground."

Aguero suffered frequent injuries last season in the ranks of Manchester City and played a handful of matches in various competitions.
