Olympic flame extinguished in Tokyo

Unlike previous Olympics, the Olympic flame in Tokyo was also extinguished after the opening ceremony of the Games.

During the competition, the flame was transferred to a bowl located on the Tokyo waterfront. 

Before the closing ceremony of the Olympics on August 8, the Olympic flame was returned to the stadium.

Earlier, the head of the IOC announced that the Tokyo Olympics were closed.
