Kevin Durant accounted for 29 points in the Olympic final against France when he ensured that the United States won its fourth straight Olympic gold, and the third Olympic gold for its own part.

Durant, who in recent seasons played with the Brooklyn Nets in the NBA, seems to have agreed on a new four-year contract with the team.

According to information to both ESPN and Boardroom, Durant will sign a contract worth 198 million dollars, equivalent to approximately 1.7 billion kronor.

The 32-year-old's agent, Rich Kleiman, confirms the information for Boardroom.

Kevin Durant has won the NBA title twice and received the award in 2014 as the league's most valuable player.
