In the qualifying for the Tokyo Olympics and rhythmic gymnastics groups, Japan's representative Fairy Japan finished in 7th place despite some mistakes, and advanced to the final by the top 8 teams.
A rhythmic gymnastics group in which five athletes perform in unison will be contested for the total score of the second type of performance of "Ribbon" and "Hoop Club".
Fairy Japan, the Japanese national team aiming to win the first medal in this event, will replace captains Sayuri Sugimoto, Sakura Noshitani, Nanami Takenaka, Ayuka Suzuki, and injured Kiko Yokota. Rie Matsubara, who will participate, took part in the performance.
In Japan, the first type of "ball", they worked on a difficult performance composition to perform one after another and showed a breathtaking performance, but there was a mistake that one of the balls went out of the hall in the middle of the performance, and it was 40.400. I couldn't improve my score.
And in the second "Hoop Club", one of the hoops thrown at the end of the performance made a mistake and only scored 39.325.
Even so, the total score of the second event was 79.725, which was 7th out of the 14 teams that participated in the qualifying, and advanced to the final by the top 8 teams.
This is the third consecutive tournament in Japan for Japan to advance to the finals.
The final of the rhythmic gymnastics group will be held on the 8th.
