Messi responds to Neymar's request and chooses his shirt number himself in Paris Saint-Germain

Argentine star Lionel Messi responded to the request of his Brazilian friend Neymar, after the latter offered him to wear the number 10 shirt in which he is currently playing with the French team, but the "Flea" did not agree, preferring a shirt with another number.

The Spanish newspapers, led by Marca, reported that Neymar tried to convince Messi to give him his shirt with the number 10, but the Argentine star refused and thanked the Brazilian for the wonderful gesture, noting that Messi would probably choose the number 19, the number with which he began his career with Barcelona.

Messi had officially left Barcelona after the shocking announcement by club president Joan Laporta, in which he confirmed that "Messi will not complete his career with the Catalan club for economic and structural reasons related to the Spanish League."

In turn, Paris Saint-Germain received the news and went directly to negotiate with Messi, who all European newspapers indicate is heading to Paris to play alongside his compatriot Di Maria and his former friend in Barcelona Neymar, who previously played with him in Barcelona between 2013 and 2017.

It is expected that Messi's transfer to Paris Saint-Germain will be officially announced in the coming days, according to Spanish newspapers.
