In the quarterfinals, the Russian wrestler defeated the representative of Uzbekistan Bekzod Abdurakhmonov with a score of 13: 6.

The semi-finals will take place later than August 5th.

Sidakov is a two-time world champion.

Earlier, Olga Khoroshavtseva lost in the 1/8 finals of the freestyle wrestling tournament at the Olympic Games in the weight category up to 53 kg.
