Swedish Madelene Sagström was the one chased when the second round began on Thursday morning at Kasumigaseki Golf Club.

Six under par, she went during the opening day, and started day two with two birdies.

The 28-year-old did not manage to keep the same birdie pace, but the next came on hole eleven.

But on the next she put on her only bogey so far.

Sagström then made sure she went at -3, and has -8 after two rounds.

She is fifth, but the entire starting field has not settled in the clubhouse.

American Nelly Korda (still in play) leads at -10.

The best today was the Dane Emily Kristine Pedersen at -8, she now has nine strokes under par in total and is split second.
