For four days, roller ski races are decided in Norway, where the Norwegian elite have gathered together with, in particular, French and Swedish skiers.

The first race was decided on Thursday, 7.5 kilometers long in freestyle on a constant uphill where the finish line is in Öygardstöl up in the mountains.

Kalla got there in 34 minutes and 16 seconds, that was enough for a fourth place.

She was 44 seconds from the podium, the French sister Delphine Claudel took the last podium place, and just over three and a half minutes behind the winner Therese Johaug.

Burman second

The Norwegian has now won the distance in the Blink Festival six times, this was faster than anyone else managed to go before - 30 minutes and 45 seconds.

In the men's race, there was also a Norwegian victory - Gaute Kvåle - who has never been in the top ten in the World Cup - won after a riot settlement with Jens Burman.

28 minutes and 56 seconds was the winning time for Kvåle.

William Poromaa finished sixth in 30.19.

On Friday, the hunt starts, and in biathlon a super sprint is decided.
