Ansan, who won three gold medals in archery at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, was invited as the first pitcher in professional baseball.

The KIA Tigers announced that Ansan will be the first pitcher in the home game to be held at Kia Champions Field in Gwangju on the 11th.

Before the match between KIA and Hanwha Eagles, Ansan wore a KIA jersey engraved with jersey number '20' and climbed the mound to pray for victory.

Sita will be played by Ansan's mother, Goo Myung-soon.

Ansan won gold medals in the mixed team event and the women's team and individual event at the Tokyo Olympics archery, becoming the first three gold medalists in the history of the Korean Summer Olympics.
