Three years.

An eternity for a runner of the caliber of Romain Bardet.

The French climber finally regained a race this Thursday at the Tour de Burgos in Spain.

He won on the third stage after escaping before the summit of Picon Blanco.

He had not raised his arms since the Classic de l'Ardèche in February 2018.

This is his first victory with his new team, DSM.

Romain Bardet is especially double blow since he takes the lead of the general classification thanks to this success.

He is now ahead of Mikel Landa (Bahrain Victorious) by 45 seconds and Domenico Pozzovivo (Qhubeka NextHash) by 58 seconds.
