He explained: "The coach's career is replete with several achievements with the state's clubs, whether the titles of local or foreign championships, and his long experience in the local league, and his coaching of the youth teams, Al Wasl and Al Nasr, which gave him a close relationship with most club players, including Al Ahly youth players, whom he led in Two occasions during the Gulf posts.

Regarding the new contracts of the “Basket Knights” in addition to the coach’s contract, Sultan said: “The contract with the American professional Brandon Trichy has been extended for an additional season, and we are waiting to announce the identity of the second foreign professional in the team’s ranks, in light of the absence of a clear agenda for the Game Association for the new season competitions.” .

He continued, "The lack of a clear competition calendar for the 2021-2022 season confuses the clubs' accounts, and at the same time incurs additional financial burdens, in the same way we witnessed last season, after most clubs were forced to extend the contracts of their players, and incur huge sums beyond their control. He concluded: "We have previously asked the Basketball Association to announce early the schedule and dates of the competitions, in the same way that the Hand and Volleyball Associations did, but the lack of clarity of vision makes it difficult for the administrative and technical bodies in the basketball clubs to determine the appropriate preparation plans."
