At the time of writing, Sweden has won six medals in total in the Olympics.

Two of them have been taken in the sailing.

Josefin Olsson, 31, won Sunday's silver in the laser radial class.

She was three points away from Anne-Marie Rindom, from Denmark, who won the gold.

On Wednesday, Sweden reaped the next sailing success when Fredrik Bergström and Anton Dahlberg also took silver.

The duo was second behind Australia in 470.

- I am very happy for them, they are very important for Swedish sailing.

It is a sport that is very visible at the Olympics compared to everyday life.

There is an incredible amount of work behind this, it is a great device.

They are well worth this and I am very happy for them, says SOK's operations manager Peter Reinebo to Discovery plus.

"Not a single mistake"

Sweden's national team captain Magnus Grävare agrees with the tributes.

- Incredible.

I am so proud and happy, he says to Discovery plus and continues.

- I am relieved for Josefine and for Anton and Fredrik today.

They deserve it so much and have worked so hard for this.

Before Wednesday's final sailing, Bergström and Dahlberg were in second place and needed to keep mainly Spain but also New Zealand behind them to secure a medal.

The gold was already secured by Australia in advance.

The Swedish duo managed the task gallantly and finished second behind Australia.

- They took the situation and did not hesitate.

They stayed cool and did not try to do more than they needed to.

They did not make a single mistake, says Grävare.
