A Sudanese singer is running for the presidency of Al-Merreikh Club.. "The public promised a new stadium"

The young Sudanese singer, Mohamed Issa, announced his official candidacy for the presidency of the Mars Club during the upcoming elections, to succeed the outgoing president, Adam Abdullah, nicknamed "Sudakal". During Adam Sudakal's presidency.

 Muhammad Issa said in statements to the "Khabarek News" website: "I announced my candidacy for the presidency of Al-Merreikh Club, after a strong blessing and full support from the club's leaders."


 Muhammad Issa revealed his electoral program, which is to establish a new stadium for the club worthy of the name and stature of Mars, to attract high-level players, to reunite the children of Mars, and to make the club free of impurities and problems, as he described it.


The artist, Mohamed Issa, indicated that if he wins, he will be the first person to take over the presidency of the club at the age of 39.  


Al-Marrekh Club is one of the oldest sports clubs in Africa and the Arab world.


Outstanding sports personalities such as the late Hajj Abdul Rahman Shakhour, who is called the "spiritual father of the Mars Club", the late Mahdi Al-Faki, the late Hassan Abu Al-Fami, who is classified as the most powerful president in the club's history, and the late Abdel Hamid Al-Dhaou Hajouj, Muhammad Elias Mahjoub and Jamal Al-Wali have succeeded in the presidency of the Mars Club.


Al-Marikh Club is nicknamed "The Leader", "The Elite", "The Glowing Red", "The Red Devils", and is the champion of the Airborne Cup Winners' Cup, in reference to the foreign championships it has achieved.
