Émilien Jacquelin, who won World Cup gold in the hunt start both 2020 and 2021, will have to withdraw from this weekend's Blinkfestivalen - a Norwegian four-day competition in roller skis for both cross-country skiers and biathletes.

The 26-year-old fell while out cycling, breaking his left arm.

On social media, he talks about the setback.

"Bad news ... a fall on my bike and everything stops.

I will have surgery tomorrow ", writes Jacquelin.

No participation for the Frenchman then.

However, Therese Johaug and Charlotte Kalla, among others, will run the competition in roller skis, which starts on Thursday.
