The transfer window is underway and Olympique Lyonnais is already recording a capital gain.
Brazilian midfielder from Lyon, Jean Lucas, was transferred to Monaco for a sum of 12 million euros including a million bonus and a 15% incentive on a possible future sale, OL announced on Monday evening.
The 23-year-old arrived in June 2019 from Flamengo for a transfer of eight million euros.
Very strong competition for his position
He played 25 games and scored 3 goals with the professional OL team in all competitions, but without ever giving the impression of being able to win in a sector of play where competition is very strong.
Jean Lucas had been loaned for the second half of last season in Brest (17 games).
This departure frees up a place of non-Community player in the Lyon workforce.
