Arkadiusz Milik resumes training at OM

This is not a new recruit, but certainly one of the most decisive.

Arkadiusz Milik, 10 goals in half a season last year, has found his way back to the Commandery.

He will be able to resume training and discover his (many) new Marseille partners, including midfielders Guendouzi and Gerson, defenders Luan Peres and Saliba, and wingers Konrad de la Fuente and Cengiz Ünder.

This is excellent news for Sampaoli, especially since OM played without a real center-forward in their last preparation match against Villarreal (won 2-1).

The Polish striker is expected to miss the opening games of this season, however.

OM travels to Montpellier for their first day in Ligue 1, Sunday at 9 p.m.
