Woo Sang-hyuk soared through the Tokyo sky and set a new Korean record in the men's high jump.



Woo Sang-hyeok crossed the 2m35 in the first round in the men's high jump final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games held at the Tokyo Olympic Stadium (New National Stadium) today (1st).



This is a new Korean record, exceeding 1cm of 2m34, set by Jintaek Lee at the National Championships on June 20, 1997.



Woo Sang-hyeok, who had a personal best of 2m31 before the Tokyo Olympics, broke his own record and the Korean record one after another in the Olympic finals.
