Swedish medal miss in the team race

Michelle Coleman, Sophie Hansson, Louise Hansson and Sarah Sjöström had a total time of 3.54.27.

Australia won before the United States and Canada.

Coleman started with backstroke and the time was 59.75, after which Sophie Hansson took over with the breaststroke where she finished at 1.05.67.

Louise Hansson then got the time 56.12 on the butterfly distance whereupon Sjöström finished with freestyle and 52.73.

Sjöström had only just over half an hour earlier taken silver in the 50 meter freestyle.
